We regularly have funding in place to offer bursaries so always enquire
We currently have funding for beginners sewing courses for East Brighton residents who are currently unemployed or very low waged.
Currently held at The Whitehawk Inn. East Brighton.
Next course starts September 2018 (this may be held at the studio due to the uncertainty of The Whitehawk Inn’s future)
Contact us to find out more about it
With thanks to our funders Sussex Community Foundation and East Brighton Trust
The courses last for six consecutive weeks and are aimed at beginners. Class sizes are small and very supportive. Learn useful and fun skills at your own pace and make some new friends. Sewing people are always very friendly. Refreshments are provided.
Re-skill / Re-use / Re-fashion project
A group of Sew Fabulous course participants have been making cushion covers from repurposed fabrics. This as part of an introduction to business pilot project that we’ve been running.
The cushion covers will be for sale so watch this space
