Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions apply to events or sessions managed by or on behalf of Sew Fabulous CIC
Please ensure you have read and understand the following before making a booking.
Covid-19 guidelines for workshops and classes at Sew Fabulous
The safety of our participants, staff and volunteers is our main priority.
We have taken the exciting decision to expand our teaching space into studio 11 so that everyone can be safely distanced while attending classes.
-Please do not come to the studio if you, or anyone you live with has any Covid-19 symptoms, a positive test result or your household should be self isolating
-Make sure you’re happy to adhere to our health and safety policy
-Wash your hands or anti bac on arrival
-The studio will be cleaned, aired and anti-bacd between all classes.
-No teas and coffees for now unfortunately, sorry, feel free to BYO
-Tutors and students aged 11+ are required to wear a mask
-We are asking people to keep conversations light, welcoming and positive. We are very aware of peoples vulnerabilities at the moment and wish to create a safe and welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
Students obligations
Regular students are required to give a half terms notice before the end of a course if they are not returning the following term in order for us to fill the space.
Attendees to be on time for the session they are attending, Sew Fabulous have no liability for loss of session time due to attendee lateness.
During the session, if you act in any way which in our opinion is likely to cause any harm or nuisance to any person at the workshop, you will be required to leave and we shall not be liable to refund you.
Holiday Clubs
Currently Holiday Club places are FREE (funded) for low income families.
We take a £10 deposit, returnable at the end of the week.
Please be aware places are oversubscribed, and very limited so we ask for a good level of commitment.
Payments and Refunds
Adult’s weekly sewing
Booking online is required in advance to secure your place.
If you can’t attend a session we may be able to transfer your booking to another day if there is space available.
We require two working days notice to check availability.
Private lessons
The same terms as adult weekly sessions applies. See above.
All other courses and one-off workshops
Bookings are required in advance to secure your place.
Where classes are booked as courses, bookings will clearly state this.
Full refunds are offered up to 28 days before the course commences.
If you wish to cancel a course or a workshop within 28 days of the course commencing, unfortunately we will be unable to offer you a refund.
OR you are welcome to find a replacement to take your space. Please provide us with details of the person that will be attending.
Gift Vouchers
When you purchase a Gift Voucher with Sew Fabulous we will email a simple voucher to you with a unique code for your recipient to use to redeem the voucher with us.
Gift Vouchers must be redeemed within six months of issue.
If we go into local or national lockdown all gift vouchers will be paused.
The gift voucher is transferable but the voucher code must be used to redeem.
Parties
Payment to be made in full to secure booking
Full payment should be received by us four weeks minimum (28 days ) before your event.
Cancel 28 days or more before event = 100% refund
Cancel 21 to 28 days before event = 50% refund
It is not Sew Fabulous’ responsibility to refund all clients individually, the organiser is responsible for this duty.
Cancellations
We will always do our upmost to run sessions and courses as timetabled.
On the very rare occasion that we may have to cancel a session due to illness or otherwise we will aim to give you 48 hours notice and offer you a replacement class or a full refund.
We require a minimum number of bookings for classes to run.
You will be offered a full refund or a replacement session/course.
Postponement or change of venue
If we need to postpone a session, course, workshop or party we will let you know as soon as we can. If the postponement is for more than 6 weeks from the original date, we will offer a full refund as an alternative.
Sew Fabulous is not liable for any other costs or expenses incurred due to cancellation, postponement or change of venue.
Photographic and film recording
We may wish to photograph or film the session or event and reserve the right to do so for the purposes of promotion, unless you notify us to the contrary.
Privacy Policy
Sew Fabulous takes its responsibility to safeguard your personal information seriously.
We may gather the following information from your enquiry or booking.
- Your name
- contact information including email address
- demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
- information about your use of our site including details of your visits, such as pages viewed and the resources you access.
- information provided voluntarily by you, for example, when you register for our newsletter or make a booking
Protecting Your Information
We take care and all reasonable physical, electronic and administrative steps to keep the information we collect secure. However, the internet is not 100% secure and we cannot guarantee the security of data you send electronically to us. Any transmission of data this way is entirely at your risk.
Disclosing Your Information
We do not disclose your personal information to any third party other than in accordance with this policy or in essential circumstances
