Sashiko Style Visible Mending workshop!
Sashiko uses small running stitches to mend and strengthen woven fabric, this session provides a wonderful introduction to this type of textile repair and embellishment.
During this workshop you will learn how to mend your textiles with patching skills and simple Sashiko stitch designs. Additionally, you will discover how to draw and create traditional Sashiko patterns onto fabric swatches without the need of templates, equipping you with the skills to continue mending at home.
This beginner-friendly introduction to Sashiko style mending includes all necessary equipment and materials. Learn how to repair, refresh, and rejuvenate your old or damaged textiles with new sewing skills in this enjoyable textile class.
