Love your Clothes is a new Sew Fabulous project that is funded by the Community Fund and will take place over 2025 and 2026
Love Your Clothes! A two year program of practical clothes mending workshops; clothes swapping events and sustainable fashion workshops for adults and families in our local community to help keep clothes in circulation for longer
Summer Holidays 2026
Monday 27th July – Patch making from 10-12
Tuesday 28th July – Patch making from 2.30-4.30
Friday 31st July – Screen printing with Little River Press from 10-12
Join us for a series of pop up workshops at Brighton Open Market in the main plaza

All workshops will be drop in, no booking required
Places are for kids, teens and families – please accompany children at all times
All materials and equipment provided but bring a pre loved T-shirt for screenprinting!

Our regular Friday drop in will be funded by this project between April 2025 and December 2026
Come and join our weekly DONATION based drop in sewing session and gain help to mend your clothing and textiles
Every Friday from 1-3 during term time

Love Your Clothes: Kids and teens school holiday creative workshops

Christmas up-cycling for kids and teens
10.30-12.30 or 1.30-3.30
Come and have a go at some simple up-cycling in this fun and friendly workshop for kids and teens.
About the workshop:
Choose from an easy range of templates or design your own.
During this workshop we will show you how to design and make your own Christmas jumper or T-shirt. Work with our sparkly fabrics, felts, sequins and little bits and bobs.
**Please bring a jumper, sweatshirt or t-shirt to up-cycle**
You can sew by hand or have a go on one of our sewing machines. No previous experience necessary.
